A traditional, solid stone mid terrace house with accommodation arranged over three floors. It is estimated that the property was built in approximately 1830 - It is very old!

A traditional, solid stone mid terrace house with accommodation arranged over three floors. It is estimated that the property was built in approximately 1830 - It is very old!
Many of the houses along the street and town are Grade II listed, and The Swiss Cottage is part of a conservation area, and valued as a place of local interest to be maintained for years to come.
The oldest section of the house has a welcome hall for coat and shoe storage and the stairs. Seperated from the hall, is the open plan living room and dining area. With an open log fire for those cosy evenings in, and a selection of games and puzzles to suit all ages.
The master bedroom faces front and contains a King bed. Above on the second floor is a further double bedroom. Both double bedrooms have enough space to accommodate the baby cot comfortably.
There is a double storey flat roof section to the house at the rear, built in the 1950s and accommodating the kitchen a shower room and WC, a twin bedroom and reading room.
The front faces a westerly direction, offering the back garden both morning and evening sun opportunities each day. Enjoy an evening Pimms in the summer house at the back and escape into your private haven.
Originally from North Yorkshire, Alex and I currently live and work in Zurich, Switzerland - hence the name, The Swiss Cottage. However, this is our family home that we return to each time we come back to England. The house brings us so much joy, and is in such a superb country market town, that it would be a shame to let it sit empty -
